About Lys over Lolland

Lys over Lolland was born with the ambitious goal of placing Lolland-Falster on the cultural map of Denmark, and in our opinion we have succeeded. For 20 years we have created unique experiences, which have evoked a response nationally as well as internationally. Lys over Lolland is at the same time an important element in the profiling towards new settlers, as well as towards the regional business life, with which we have a close co-operation.

Lys over Lolland is planned by artistic leader Susanne Grue Jørgensen with reference to the board of Kulturforum Lys over Lolland. Furthermore we have a very strong dialog with a wide artistic network. Besides the project management the technical start and carrying through of the project are handled by some capacities within the fields of light, sound, pictures and design of rooms. We do also have a big network of voluntary private persons and business people, who back up the idea and the practical carrying through of the project.

Lys over Lolland is a professional art and culture festival with the goal of showing Danish and international art with a high quality level – strong experimenting and with a wide appeal. With a full program at day and in the evening with exhibitions, concerts, movie first nights and other events.
